In addition to the activism, advocacy activities and training programs it conducts, Women for Women’s Human Rights (WWHR) – New Ways strives to reach women from different segments of society with its numerous publications in multi languages in line with its strategy of producing and sharing feminist knowledge.
WWHR –New Ways works to raise social awareness against gender inequality and the violation of women’s human rights through various forms of publications including books, articles, reports, booklets, training videos and newsletters. All these efforts are geared towards creating a space for deliberation against the legitimization of rights violations. Furthermore, beyond tools for creating knowledge and awareness, WWHR regards its publications as a means of developing feminist discourse, advocacy and politics and implements its publication strategy and activities to this end.
The fact that our publications are used as resource materials on national and international levels in a wide array of different fields such as academia, advocacy, training and organizing is a great source of motivation for the WWHR-New Ways team. Furthermore, the acclaim received for the We Have Rights! booklets (primarily targeting HREP participants), which have been developed to make laws readily comprehendible and thus accessible for women and have an outreach of over 12,000, the Purple Series (documentary TV series), and the quarterly Purple Newsletter also verifies the impact and success of our publications in the field at the grassroots level.
